I purchased a Smart ForFour from JJM in Jan 2023. The service and communication was impeccable from start to finish. I was travelling from Newcastle so wanted to know everything about the car. John Snr talked me through its history, condition and really made the decision easy. John offered to pick me up from the train station in Glasgow to get me to his location which demonstrated his commitment to customer service.
 

The car was within the showroom when I arrived and was truly immaculate; it had been professionally detailed to a very high standard - testament to John Jnr! I was talked through and handed all of the service history docs and MOT and received a warranty and breakdown cover which were activated before I left.
 

I received the new V5 a week after the purchase.
 

I’ve bought a lot of cars but really like the service and family feel from JJM. If you are interested in one of their cars, you really will not be disappointed!

  What a pleasant experience we had purchasing our lovely car from JJM Car sales. John and John junior couldn’t have been more helpful. We had literally searched the whole country and found the car we wanted 300 miles from home! 

We were very wary of travelling so far and then not liking it. John reassured us that we wouldn’t be disappointed with the vehicle and he seemed very genuine, So we went for it! John offered to pick us up from the airport or train station to take us to their garage. We chose to hire a vehicle and true to his word John picked us up from the hire car drop off. 

The car was everything we had been promised and our concerns with travelling so far were soon put to rest as soon as we were greeted by John and later John junior. What a lovely family business, made us feel very comfortable and confident in our purchase and made the long journey well worth it. Can’t recommend JJM enough and we are very grateful for going above and beyond for us .Thanks guys

 Dear John,

I should like to thank you and JJM Car Sales for the refreshingly pleasant and friendly experience of buying my Skoda Fabia from you. I had to travel more than fifty miles to view the car at your East Kilbride venue. Your reassurances over the phone were confirmed that the car was in exceptionally good order. There was no pressure at all and all questions answered in detail with most supported by paperwork. The car was also offered with a comprehensive RAC warranty. After a detailed look at the car and a test run, I felt every confidence and agreed to buy it. This meant returning to East Kilbride in a few days, via Glasgow Bus Station, several  miles away. JJM immediately offered to meet the Megabus and run me back to the garage, which they did. The whole purchase experience was first class and I would recommend anybody to buy their next vehicle here. 5 stars out of 5. No question.

I bought a Skoda Fabia SE from JJM Car Sales and the service provided was absolutely flawless. When it came to the sale itself, there was no pressure put on me at all and everything was very relaxed with plenty of time being allowed to digest it all as this was my first ever car purchase. As I was buying the car prior to my test, I didn’t completely understand the process of how to go about things but John (Snr) & John (Jnr) were very attentive and guided me through the process effortlessly - even going as far as providing advice on things like obtaining insurance, taxing the vehicle and explaining how the warranty worked. All in all the service was more than I would have expected from any of the main dealers. In simple terms, they just care about their customers and provide top level service which shines through in abundance. I’ll definitely be purchasing my next car from JJM Car Sales and I’ll be recommending them to anyone I know who will be making a car purchase in the future also.

Recently bought a Jaguar XE from these guys. The was 1st class, the guys couldn't have been more helpful with no pressure or fancy sales speil. Returned earlier today as I had a couple of questions, not only did they sort out my queries immediately ....they even washed my car as "it was looking a bit dusty" Service doesn't get any better than that. I bought an Hyundai i10 from JJM Car Sales and was very happy with with the whole experience. All their cars are in great condition and immaculately valeted but this wee car caught my eye especially, although I could easily have gone for any of them. Have just purchased a car for my wife from this Father & Son business dealt mostly with John ( Junior ) , both were there when we picked up our car on Friday we can't praise them both enough for how we were treated from start to finish . This was the most stress free purchase of a car we have experienced and would like to add they go out of their way to make it like this explaining things and answering any questions , my wife is over the moon with her wee car and would certainly recommend JJM car sales if they have the car you are looking for you won't be disappointed dealing with them.  I recently acquired a Jaguar XE R-Sport from JJM Car Sales which I am delighted with. The service I received from start to finish was fantastic. Both father & son were welcoming and extremely knowledgeable on the vehicles they are selling. There was no pressure at any point and I was made to feel comfortable before driving the car away. I unfortunately made the mistake of having another company finance the car (CarMoney) which was slightly frustrating due to the way the work, so I would highly recommend using the finance partner (Close Brothers). 5 star service!

 I bought a Jag XF off this Father and Son business 5 months ago just before the lockdown. Other Car dealers listen up, this is how you should treat all your customers, they were genuinely friendly and attentive, not once were they pushy, there was no pressure, all questions were thoroughly answered and time wasn't an issue. It must of been the wettest day of the year as we travelled over from Galashiels but when we arrived the car looked beautiful and we'll presented. There was no hurry with the test drive and all the bells and whistles were explained. Well done to you both you deserve all your success, I'll be back again now I'm a Jag convert.  I contacted JJM about a Volvo XC60 and that same day was able to test drive despite social distancing. John and his son were consumate professionals throughout and made the whole experience stress free. Everything was explained fully and crucially there was no sense of being pressured into buying. The car is immaculate and just what we were looking for. Overall an excellent car buying experience, definitely recommend this dealer if you're looking for a high quality used motor.

 Arranged a visit to see the car with John and was greeted by him upon arrival. No pushy sales tactics from either John's and they allowed me to test drive the car around the estate.
Everything was explained clearly and this allowed me to make a decision on the car which I absolutely love!

Both Johns are  a credit to the car sales industry.  We dealt with John Snr first, and he immediately came across as genuine and honest. He never pushed for a sale. All the cars that they have for sale are immaculate and they speak for themselves.  It’s obvious they take a pride in getting them prepared for purchase from inspection, MOT, to polishing them to perfection. John gave great explanations in relation to the warranty/ paperwork.  He gave us good advice about selling our own car.  John Jnr picked us up from the train station so we could take car home.  It’s no surprise they have 5 star reviews when they provide a 5 star service.  Found this low mileage car which was exactly what I was after. Having looked at the reviews decided to email. A call back within minutes and I had no reservations about the company I was dealing with. Having sold cars for main dealers for 25 years any questions I had about the car were answered and felt that preparation was at the forefront of their cars for sale which is more than can be said of many main dealers with higher prices. A check of their stock gives you an understanding of the type of cars they specialise in so I wasn’t concerned that the little Yeti I bought would be up to par. Had a 200 mile journey and was collected at the station by John which made getting to the garage really easy and the car was indoors and again valeted to a high standard compared to what I have seen in many cars sold. In summary there aren’t many garages around offering a quality service without all the add ons and finance push and just concentrating on better quality cars . Thanks to all .

 Definitely the best car dealer to do business with: incredibly friendly, helpful and professional! No pushy sales techniques, no pressure on added extras, very straight forward. Price and condition of the Jaguar 2.2D we bought were excellent. The viewing was during dark hours, they put the car inside for us to examine as much as we wanted before the test drive. When we received the keys with the immaculate car, they took the time to explain us all features and switches. But the best of all, due to work, it was very difficult for us to view and get the car during their opening hours: for the viewing, they kept the store open, 45 minutes later than the initially arranged time, even came to get us because we got lost. The following week, they proposed and brought the car in front of our door the same evening we transferred the money… for free ! Litterally they went the extra (20) miles ! Great service! We would highly recommend them!

Best dealer I've had the pleasure doing business. Arranged appointment but due to traffic (Cher at Hydro) we arrived 2 hours after the arranged time. John was patient and welcoming and understood the delay.

The car was and is in excellent condition for age, mileage and owners.
He offered to pick me up from the train station when I was to collect. Also he offered arranging some floor mats as soon as one is available.

Absolutely fantastic, knowledgable and helpful family business. Very easy process with no pressure to buy at all. We contacted John via auto trader on a Sunday to enquire about a car whilst we were down from Orkney. Within minutes he had rung as and arranged with us to see the car. We arrived in about 20 minutes, test drove the car and he answered any questions we had. We paid a deposit and went back home to bring back our car for part exchange a couple of weeks later. They were very accommodating. Bonus they filled the car up with diesel for my onward journey! Felt like I could trust this company. Totally recommend!

This was the best experience I've had at a garage while buying a car! There was no pressure at all. It's a small family business and young John had lots of patience while I took over an hour to choose between 2 Jaguars they had in stock. After much deliberation, John Snr, gave me some advice and it was spot on. I'm over the moon with the car. The price was the best in Scotland and the car was exactly as described. There was a small issue with the air con, the guys came 30 miles down the day I called, sorted the issue and delivered the car back. I will definitely buy my next car there. Very impressed with the overall service provided by JJM. Despite late notice they opened up on a Sunday solely for me to view a Volvo V70, they took the effort to ensure the vehicle was indoors and dry for viewing and available for a test drive after. Following the purchase of the vehicle I arranged to collect it two days later, instead of having to make my way from Edinburgh to East Kilbride they went the extra mile and kindly offered to pick me from Glasgow train station and drive me to collect the vehicle. I bought a Mazda MX-5 from JJM and I can honestly say it is one of the best buying experiences I have ever had. The car was taken inside and prepped for my arrival, and I was warmly welcomed by John. It is clear that JJM choose their vehicles carefully and the MX-5 was no exception; excellent condition, service history and only 2 owners. John was very patient with me and didn't try any of the pushy sales techniques that you often face in the big brand car stores. I could tell that he simply believed in the quality of the car. He listened to what I was saying and helped me to make a decision. Two small dents and a scuff on the door were repaired perfectly once the sale was agreed and the car was kindly delivered to my house as my wife was due to give birth. I am pleased to say that the car drives beautifully and I am delighted with it. I would happily purchase another car from JJM in the future.

Got a 2010 Honda CRV from JJM 8 weeks ago. Happily allowed me a full inspection of car, even took it to a nearby garage and up on ramps for a full underbody inspection. No pressure test drive and slow speed testing on full lock and reversing were accommodated with courtesy and patience. I looked at 6 of these cars prior to purchase and JJM's was the best. Small issue of coin-sized paint ding on door was sorted out, made good as new, no quibble. Even offered to collect car from 20miles away at my home to repair a blocked screen-wash nozzle after purchase. Overall a friendly, helpful, personal service. I feel that the rear skoosher jet should have been picked up on their pre-sale inspection however. Was also an issue with a deflating front tyre straight from purchase, due to be a nail in the tyre shoulder (had to buy a new tyre). To be fair, I didn't contact them about this as it would have been easy to miss, but slightly disappointing. They really care about their customers.

What great guys! Truly went above and beyond with the after sale care. Bought a car from JJM at the start of the month, when we arrived they had the car ready to show us and didn't bombard us with a big sales pitch. Gave the relevant info about the car then left us to have a wee look about it. Upon buying the car, we noticed that our deposit money was short of a £50 note. We both counted it, the two John's counted it and the 50 was definitely not there so we put it down to having lost it prior to getting there and gave another 50 to make up the deposit. The following day they called to say that when they were cashing it in at the bank, the clerk had noticed there was 50 more than there should have been, they don't know how it was missed when we had all counted it but we had just to pop down to collect it. How honest is that? Faith in humanity restored! Then....
Everything was fab until a few weeks in when I was driving and the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree with just about every possible warning light lit. You can imagine the feeling of dread that ensued!  So I called John to explain what had happened and without hesitation he came within the hour to collect the car and get it seen by a work shop, even offering a courtesy car and an extended warranty! After 24 hrs the problem was diagnosed and fixed, the car was re-fueled and then returned at no cost to myself! The problem was a wire that had come loose and was tripping the computer.

Honest, genuine men in my eyes which can be hard to find in this game!

I bought a brilliant used car from this garage and I can't thank them enough. Right from the very beginning of my last minute booking, an appointment was made at short notice. Extremely lovely people, very friendly and easy going. Very helpful aswell, always willing to help at any time with any problems or queries you may you may have.

Just bought a car from JJM and have to say the whole experience from start to finish has been excellent. Top quality car at a very good price. Both Johns were brilliant and really go the extra mile for the customer. Even picked me up from the train station after travelling through from Dundee to collect the car. Will definitely go back again for my next car and I'd recommend anyone to have look.

Quite honestly the nicest, most genuine and relaxed car sales pitch we have ever experienced! Fantastic customer service (we had to give them a quick callin relation to our new car) and it was sorted immediately, so after sales customer service is also outstanding. Our only grump is we wish we had found these guys sooner, they are literally on our doorstep! We are a 2 car family, soon to be 3 when our teenager decides to start driving and we know wherewe shall be going to gethis first car and all of our future wheels.

Thanks again JJM you have provided us a fantastic tank, i mean car. Vladimir the Volvo V70 is a firm part of the family aready.

I am an avid reader of reviews, particular car reviews. I have never shared my opinions with others, but on seeing the JJM team up and running I feel I should break my rule.You want a fair deal backed up by quality and service.... JJM. I have bought several cars from (auld) John.... Skoda to Honda to Mercedes. I have never been disappointed. Remember if things go wrong that is the ultimate test the back up service which the provide.

Absolutely amazed at their service, no hard sale pitch very relaxed atmosphere. You will realise straight away that these guys are not your run of the mill cowboys .(that when they sell you a car they have no interest afterwards) Will definetely be buying my next vehicle from them.
